FULL TIME SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (contract-based)

Location: Remote, but applicants must be located in Toronto, Canada.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Social Media Manager, with a proven track record and references demonstrating success in the beauty or medical aesthetics industry.
  • Creativity: Strong ability to generate and execute innovative ideas, with proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to thrive in a flexible, remote work environment, taking ownership of projects and delivering results.
  • Collaboration: Passion for working with women-owned businesses and contributing to their success.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for aesthetics, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with platforms like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, Asana, and social media management tools. Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign is a plus.
  • Location: Must reside in Toronto, Canada, as occasional in-person meetings and content creation days at client facilities are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Create: Develop and implement social media strategies that enhance client visibility, attract leads, and foster business growth.
  • Content Development: Produce engaging content, including visually appealing graphics, compelling captions, and high-quality short-form videos for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
  • Video Production: Film, edit, and produce videos that effectively convey client stories and drive audience engagement. Proficiency with tools such as CapCut and other social video editing software is essential.
  • Platform Management: Oversee and maintain social media accounts across various platforms, ensuring consistent branding and high levels of engagement.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to realize their vision, while coordinating with our internal teams specializing in digital ads, email marketing, and more.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics to monitor key performance indicators like engagement, reach, and conversions, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about industry trends, explore new platforms, and introduce innovative ideas to keep our clients ahead in the industry.

Compensation:

Based on years of experience and skills. Potential candidates will be required to join a 10 hours paid assignment to determine if you are a good fit.
